15 May Sigma CINE at NAB 2017
We’ve rounded up some of the great interviews from NAB 2017 in Las Vegas, where SIGMA has unveiled the new 14mm T2 CINE and 135mm T2 CINE lenses.
In addition to the new CINE models, Sigma also introduced two new customization options for our customers.
Selectable focus ring with feet or meter graduations – Based on user needs, a focus ring with either feet or meter markings may be selected. For a small charge, SIGMA can also convert the ring from one type to the other after purchase.
FULLY LUMINOUS versions – In these versions of the CINE lens lineup, each ring features numbers and graduations finished with luminous paint for easier shooting in the dark. On the standard version, only the lens name, mounting point, and current marking indication for focus, iris and zoom are illuminated.
The prices and availability for the T1.5 prime lenses have also been announced at NAD. The lenses have a suggested retail price of $4,899.95 CAD. The EF and E-mount are expected to be available in July 2017, with the PL-mount to follow in August. Kit configurations of the prime lenses will be available in the near future, although specifics have not yet been announced.
