I heard about Frank Kuiack from a friend who had him as a fishing guide. When I saw a picture of Frank and learned he was the last remaining fishing guide in Algonquin Park, I knew I had to photograph him. Anytime I get the chance to get to know a living legend and photograph them, I jump at the opportunity. I feel a responsibility to photograph these people in fear that others have not. I can't bare the thought of such legends not being recognized for their greatness. I'm excited to say that I've got several legends like Frank appearing in my upcoming book as well as several people who have overcome adversity and gone on to accomplish greatness. The book is scheduled for release in the Fall of 2021. - Wayne Simpson, SIGMA Pro Photographer
